Education aids the development of an individual’s cognitive, psychological and intellectual abilities thus helping in shaping his or her personality. CHITRA foundation, founded by RMR group, believes that access to quality education is fundamental to the growth of India.

CHITRA foundation supports the functioning of many government schools in the vicinity of its facilities across the Dungarpur tribal belt. It aims to reduce dropout rate of students in schools. The foundation distributes stationeries, books, uniforms, school bags, etc. amongest the students.

Through this initiative, various programmes are conducted in coordination with schools to bring about a positive change in attitude related to education and fitness by engaging children through fun and play sessions.

Education is the only tool which enables girls to rise from a life of poverty, and go on to live a life of dignity. In order to uplift the lives of girl child by making them self reliant, the foundation has launched various campaigns to create awareness on the education of girls in the district. Under the Sukanya Yojana, foundation has helped large number of girls and their families thus creating opportunities for their brighter future.

Plantation Drives

As a responsible organization, CHITRA foundation, hosts successful tree plantation drives in various areas and also ensures that their survival rate is significantly high. The focus is to increase green cover through plantation. One of our Sustainability Goals 2020 is focused on tree plantation of 10000 trees.
